Day 2 on the Canadian, leaving Ontario and headed for Winnipeg. All the crews change at Winnipeg since it's their home base, so you get a whole new crew after dinner service. There's about 1.5 hours to explore downtown Winnipeg but most shops are closed after 9.

Breakfast: 6:30 am to 9:30am? Can't remember the exact times.
Lunch 11am to 1pm. You pick your seating the night before at dinner.
Soup option for lunch was chicken and wild rice soup, and the dessert was carrot cake (with hazelnuts, you should definitely get this even if you don't eat dessert).
Dinner: 5pm to 7pm. You pick your seating the night before at dinner.
Dinner is very rushed as the crew needs to get out before Winnipeg. Suggest you take the earlier seating. Since the crew was rushed there was only a salad option (no soup) and 1 side (mashed potato) and 1 dessert option. They also ran out of the dressing for the salad and linens for the tables (paper napkins only). They also didn't want passengers to linger after dinner so the next seating can be done quickly.
If you're going to tip your room attendant, do it before they switch crews.
