Just requalified for 1K earlier this month. Still have yet to be able to use any PPs and have received exactly one complimentary upgrade in the last two years of 1K (home airport is SFO). But I guess guaranteed overhead space and E+ and a zillion free bags when our whole family travels somewhere is worth something. Our family of 4 is flying to Kona tomorrow and I waitlisted PP for us — we’re currently numbers 4-7 on the list and there are 6 open seats; argh.
