If you intend to be travelling around london a lot by public transport only, Stratford is arguably the best of the three, as the HP East and HR Albert Embankment are both a bit awkward for the tube (neither terrible, but neither as good as some here like the Marriott hotels by Kings X).
Since it appears you have frequented all three hotels, what is your ranking of them ignoring other factors?
We stayed at HP East in April. I'd like to like it better than I did as there were a number of positives. But the mattresses were not good at all and reminded me of my long-ago dorm room. The immediate area around the hotel is not awful but not great either. Maybe a bit too from the subway at night for what it is.
