Eh, it’s peak summer travel. Multiple weather events the past few days adding onto that. And they’re still short-staffed despite aggressively hiring - plus they have plans for another 500-600 by the end of the year. But they also have a bunch who are starting to get past the year requires to transfer/train at other desks which are short staffed. As I understand it they’ve been offering essentially continuous overtime for anyone that wants it since summer began (and allowing part timers to sign up for full time hours).
