I have fond memories of when BA absorbed BMI's FFP. Initially, a lot of us were worried/sad because we were losing an awesome program. But, BA gold cheered us up immensely as we started to get used to those amazing lounges and outstanding customer service.
But bmi lifetime Gold was no more, and lifetime status is what a lot of Asiana members are concerned about (Asiana is the favorite program for frequent traveler's to get Star Alliance lifetime status).
