United is dealing with an insane number of delayed and canceled flights. Their call volume must be 5x the normal amount, that's why you can't get through.

I actually found a work around - as a 1K (not the regular line) but I am not sure if I can share it here. I'd need to talk to a moderator to know I am not breaking any rules.
