I actually put a 12 day reservation on hold, flying into Zagreb and out of Dubrovnik. Would we be able to cover any other countries other than Croatia on such an itinerary? Just looking at a map, I'm not sure if Bosnia and Slovenia are realistic.
If you're interested in visiting the old walled city of Kotor, Montenegro (roughly 65 miles south of Dubrovnik) you can fly back from Tivat (TIV). Star Alliance has flights three times a week on Austrian Airlines into Vienna.
