I was recently at the Hyatt Harborside Boston and they had a little tend card noting new lower rates for direct-dialed calls and it was no where near $8 a minute.
Those rates quoted are a bit misleading since the calls are charged as operator assisted calls - meaning there is like a $3-4 charge for "setup" then a $2-3 per minute.
