I have fond memories of when BA absorbed BMI's FFP. Initially, a lot of us were worried/sad because we were losing an awesome program. But, BA gold cheered us up immensely as we started to get used to those amazing lounges and outstanding customer service.
Unless Korean Air switches to Star Alliance, which is highly unlikely, I would certainly be disappointed with the acquisition.
