I booked a business ticket (TPE-IAH) for next week with United MileagePlus and immediately received a United & EVA confirmation #. Upon trying to select my seat on the EVA website, it shows my flight as waitlisted. I had no idea it was possible to be waitlisted on EVA using *A miles. I don't have status with EVA - so are my chances at the waitlist clearing high? or should I just cancel and book other options?
