First of all, thanks for all your posts, we clearly need to set up an Elevator DO at some point. Did they explain why no executive lounge check-in? It was definitely a thing in the past, though tbh it wasn't that fast the last time I used it (but at least you're waiting in the lounge with snacks as opposed to the lobby).

The swimming pools have been discussed many times in this thread (believe it or not searching for "pool" in the thread tools will pull up most of them). There are
two pools: 18F is a shaded, small wading pool that nobody really uses or understands the purpose of. There is a much larger lap pool on the roof of the other building (6F) that has (somewhat) better sun exposure and is more suitable for actual swimming (and also just lounging around).
