Exactly, and that’s my approach to it. Most of my NY trips now are day trips or night before and return the following day. I loved the 6:30 am AA shuttle because it would still beat the heavy traffic on the BQE and LIE into the midtown tunnel, but not require a 4:30 wake-up. When I lived in NY and went up north, it would be for a few days, and that’s how I got to know the staff at the US Air Club (now the only AC). Also got to know some of the staff at the LGA club.

If AA does restart service, then my paper boarding pass from the “final” LGA-BOS shuttle won’t mean as much to me (though I do have the one from the final US BOS-LGA shuttle)
