Hi folks! I'm seeing an odd situation that I think is a fare mapping error on the Alaska web site. When searching for a first class fare from Wichita to Seattle, I'm being offered ICT-DFW-SEA. The ICT-DFW flight on American books into I class and is marketed by AS, but it displays as American 3882 (Alaska 4791) Coach (I) on the web site.
My guess is that this is just a display bug and that it actually will book into business if I follow through with the booking. Other OTAs show the flight would be in business, and because it's an AS codeshare, I imagine I is correct. But it's a gamble until I book...
Anyone have experience with this? I'd prefer to book directly on the AS web site rather than via an OTA, but if the difference is a free drink on a uselessly short 350 mile flight, I'll jump through a few hoops, I suppose...

I'd just book it on Alaska and check to see what American says when you get your confirmation code.
You can always cancel within 24 hrs.
