Looking to book a flight that arrives in SYD about 4 hours before the flight to LHR.
This has been debated on QF Flyertalk in the past.
In short I did this journey in Feb 23 and even on reward tickets(which according to the QF policy should allow baggage interlining) it was hellishly difficult to get them to do it. Whilst flights from BNE are usually on time, it’s a real gamble if you have to collect your bags(you won’t be able to use the QF airside transfer bus if you do) and get over to the international terminal. As someone else suggested go the night before(and stay at Rydges at the airport who usually allow late check out) or give yourself even more time by taking an earlier flight
