I've stayed at most of the IHG properties in downtown Manhattan several times each this year, and I think this property is hands down the best IHG hotel in downtown. The breakfast has always been pretty good, even if they limit you to an entrée and a drink (today they let me get 2 entrées). I got a balcony upgrade once, I always get a free drink ticket with every stay, and have never been charged the amenity fee. Rooms are cozy but clean - for a one night work stay, it does the job. The FiDi Indigo is newer and also very good, but for me the drink and breakfast give it an edge (FiDi Indigo breakfast is fine but standard).
