The "strange" thing Im seeing is that even though both the inbound and outbound share the same L fare, when the accrual is done on the basis of fare, the number of Base miles is greater than when the method is distance. In this case, Fare method yields 1650 base miles for the MIA to DFW and distance method with the same L fare yields 1450 base miles.

I guess that not all L fares are the same and some yield more base miles than others.... or, what am I missing....?

Thanks !!
This has happened to me twice, although never in my favor. Both times I called in the agents knew immediately the issue and how to fix. One told me it was a simple IT glitch and something caused my record to default to the old method of calculation.
