WA is decent - stay there the most. Nice rooms, good rooftop bar, decent restaurant. Small gym but if have Equinox membership there are 3 within a short distance. Maybourne more in the thick of it in terms of BH and a good option too.

Otherwise there's Hotel Bel Air (nice spot, feel a bit more residential in the mix up there) and Nobu Ryokan Malibu if hanging around that end of the world.

Probably between those is my opinion.
