The Confidante is beachfront and on Mid-Beach Miami Beach. It’s just a short Uber/taxi to South Beach (SoBe). It a nice property but not spectacular but a good solid choice for a Miami Beach Resort.

If you want to be in the heart of South Beach (SoBe) stay at the relatively newer Hyatt Centric. It’s only a few block from the beach.

other options are the recently added Dream South Beach (a promotion for Dream properties is going on), or the SLH properties Lenox or The Plymouth all a few blocks from the beach.

I would (and have) stayed at The Confidante and had a great time. It was a staycation as we live in South Florida. The rooms tend to be a bit smaller than expected but most hotel rooms in Miami Beach are smaller. Hope this helps.
