I try to do parkrun most Saturdays at 9am. Our local parkrun is not far from LHR in a lovely park full of mature trees and for the first time that I can remember, they're considering closing the park due to forecasted high winds.
So the forecast must be quite severe for this warning to be in place. Clearly parkrun doesn't have much to do with BA (yes, mods, I know the rules (!)), but the proximity of the location to LHR is more significant!
If I had a choice, I'd be adding contingency into any tight connections.
That might be Bedfont Lakes, as I don't recall many mature trees at Stockley Park! Now if we really want to drag it off-topic, my Parkrun PB is at Bedfont (and will forever remain there, no doubt!).
Back in the real BA world, I'm due on a SH flight to Germany at 9am tomorrow morning - no cancellation yet, but this will probably jinx it
