Playing the devil's advocate, I'm not convinced it is such a bad choice. LH can double the price and quadruple the miles redemption compared to the existing product and Allegris F will still sell like hot cakes.
The product makes no sense to me, but neither do Louis Vuitton bags, Richard Mille watches or other Veblen goods. But they are all raking in the dough.
Why not go all the way, make the product as youtube ridiculous as possible, perhaps they could hire the next Salt Bae as in-flight chef?
The choice for a single row I don't understand at all though.

This has all been discussed extensively, so I won’t re-litigate it other than to question how a cabin in which four seats are actually three (only two of which are feasible for solo travellers) ever got off the drawing board.
