SanDiego - serious answer:
While I have zero evidence that M/BV would/could do this - I think we are fools in thinking that our "anonymous" survey responses are such.
- in my professional career, and the details of such, are not important - I know this not to be the case (in both directions)
- I recall, for example, getting a response to a survey at work that was <10 and I could tell with 100% accuracy who wrote it based upon their comments
Hence, back to this situation - I did in fact leave some objective comments (including praising the staff) that - without too much effort - could be traced back to a specific customer (in this case, me)
- individual employees might not be happy about the action plans that might result from my comments (like additional training?)
- Management might not like the action plans from higher-ups *(decreased bonuses? more work in managing?
.. and then such things can then take a life of their own if "I" check in again
- sure, nice to think "ok, maybe lets fix these things or make him happier" but the reality can also be "hey, he screwed us, lets clean the toilet with his toothbrush"
