Probably missed a few, but 8 long-haul cancellations yesterday for maintenance reasons alone ... is just unacceptable. I remember DL celebrating days with zero cancellations (for any reasons that is) - UA is very very far away from that right now
According to flight aware, yesterday united had over 70 cancellations, while Delta had 2. Not a good look, and when you take out weather cancellations, pilot and crew time out cancellations, and airport labor actions cancellations, it sure seems like it there an awful lot of MX cancellations. Is the fleet getting tired or is it something else?
