I couldn't get cell phone service and had to rush to make a call. I knew dialing direct would be crazy expensive. The call was like 10 seconds so I knew a 1 minute minimum would apply. In any case, I think a 1 minute call from Boston to Washington at $8.55 is an incredible profit for the hotel even with the expense of maintaining a phone system.

Do all US Hyatt Hotels charge the same rate per minute for domestic calls?
