Applied and declined. . My credit score is north of 800.
Response with decline of application notes that i would receive email with details 15 days from now.
Just a data point for you - I applied and got approved this morning, similar credit score.
My direct AC membership was coincidentally scheduled to expire on 7/23, and now that I've dropped from EXP to Plat this year, locking it in at the reduced rate provided extra savings for me to make it worth it for at least a year. Maybe the extra 20k LP will give me a chance at re-climbing the ladder a little quicker.
