I don't recall a dedicated 1K agent. Then again, unlike bidding to work inside the United Club (which is now part of premium service group), I don't think they take experience into staffing the different lines.
Actually, it was an 016 ticket on the canceled UA flight, and I wanted to get on the earlier AC flight.
Good to know, though, about the staffing experience level. It seems there are enough flights out of A that there should be a 1K counter.
