Thanks! This is helpful. We looked at the Pendry and it looks fun but weren't wild about the HP. I suppose I should amend "cool bar" - I meant more like, unique or creative, or interesting aesthetic (like the Maybourne's Cigar Bar or the Loung at Mr C) as opposed to younger crowd or high energy vibes. Can I ask why you'd advise against the Wilshire? My partner really likes the look of it that one and the Bel-Air.

Coming from an east coast city with a piss poor luxury hotel scene (Philly; we basically have the FS, and the Rittenhouse (LHW, but tired)), agree those you mentioned aren't "amazing" but the BH Pen and WA were both more exciting than what we have at home lol!
