I was pretty disappointed by the Greenwich lounge when I visited on Monday evening. It wasn't too busy and it felt like there was plenty of space. However - so many showers were 'out of order' and the one I got was already looking tired. The original door lock had been drilled out, I had to check with the (bored and unfriendly) attendant that the door actually locked. Thankfully it did, as at there were at least two attempts to open the door when I was in there - good job as the tiny towels provided weren't going to save any blushes. The only good thing I can say was there was a Dyson hairdryer that worked.

Food options were underwhelming. No savoury snacks available at all, only sweet things were plates of boring and not very nice cookies. Even the GLA lounge has an ice cream freezer at the moment and plenty of Kettle Chips! Items to order from the pub were ok but nothing to write home about. Only one member of staff at the pub, they weren't there all the time, and no one on duty at the gin bar.

In general, I felt that the lounge wasn't very clean - tables weren't properly cleaned, there were obvious food smears, crumbs, etc. Staff looked like they couldn't care less and the young woman on the front desk was very unwelcoming.

There was a good range of free pour spirits, so I at least managed to make myself a decent negroni to numb the disappointment!!
