It's extremely flexible. They do ask for your room number when you sit down at a restaurant but I suspect you could have multiple dinners if you wanted; I didn't try it. You definitely could have other snacks, like going to the coffee shop or the evening taco stand, in addition to a meal. There's plenty of food.
The regular restaurants I believe don't take reservations, and generally there's no need for them. The special multi-course tasting menu restaurant may.
