This is the wrong attitude to have. Please take care of seat assignments for your family yourself and don’t leave it up to the airline. KLM may “guarantee” seating together but it comes at the expense of other passengers who will get bumped from their preferred seats to make room for your family. Imagine you were traveling solo and picked your preferred window or aisle seat only to moved to a random middle seat at T-24 because other parents planned poorly? Don’t be that family.
