Beware the TSA line in terminal 3 AA @ FLL!

I have seen it to be utterly disorganized, chaotic, and extremely inconsistent several times this year. The line can reach out to the sidewalk on some busy travel mornings. Add to this the inconstant treatment of F/C and elite travelers. Sometimes they let you cruise right through the elite line & sometimes they lump everyone in the same line & inevitably have to start calling passengers to the front as departure times near.

Once I checked in at the F/C desk but my upgrade had not yet cleared. I asked the agent about the elite TSA line (EXP) and he told me “sure no problem” After being denied access to the elite security line I had to walk the AA agent over to the TSA line. They finally let me through to catch my flight while they continued arguing regarding who is allowed in the F/C TSA line.
