Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but the Ritz in Budapest is often cheaper than other Marriott properties. As a result, we stayed at this hotel recently for a couple of nights. The service wasn’t amazing - staff members from the front desk to valet to housekeeping were not overly nice or customer service oriented. All that aside, we had a wonderful stay. The room was great and everything you’d expect from a Ritz. The bed was sublime - one of the most plush and comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It’s also in a good location and well-placed for visiting many sights and attractions. All in all a good hotel, but the soft product could use some refinement.
