Any update on this? I am genuinely curious as I will be flying on JL 3 in January 2024. It is an award ticket that I booked via BA Avios, and not AS, but I still want to know if you have gotten anywhere with your complaints. On a related note, if something similar was to happen to me, how should I handle this? I see a few people would demand to speak to a JAL station manager at JFK. Any other insight from some of the more senior members here? Is there a part of JAL's COC that I should be ready to quote / pull up on my phone?
