Right, the terms in the email sent to existing customers mentioned above say the 50k/90k bonuses start next qualifying year, however that seems to be in the context of starting next year, we (Citi) are completely removing the LP bonuses for hitting $40k spend. Since they also mention that in the current 2023 qualifying year you can earn the first 10k LP bonus by hitting $40k spend or 50k LP.

I guess we'll see once Citi cleans up the benefit language come July 23 however I would fully expect the 10k LP bonuses at 50k/90k to be active for new cardmembers this year.
