not sure if you count it as vegetarian, but eggs, potatoes, cheeses, smoked salmon, fruit, good bread choices.

How easy is it to get from the hotel to town and back again? Taxis sound prohibitive. Buses? Shuttles? Do they run late at night?
Which town - Reykjavik? It’s about an hour by bus, and fairly expensive. The bus leaves from the airport and so you probably have to get there first by cab. If you are thinking of making the CY hotel your base and go explore Reykjavik, I would say that is a bad idea. Both expensive to travel back and forth, and a waste of time.

We booked too late to get a good deal at Hilton or Marriott properties in town, but found a local chain (Center Hotels) with fairly nice properties that are, well, very central and reasonably priced. My last use of hotels.com …
