Not sure about mobile BP (could work), but there are also self-service kiosks if that doesn't. If you have nothing else to do and nowhere else to go, you can try one of the handful of restaurants in the terminal before Sumaq will let you in. The prices aren't horrendous. Priority pass also offers a few options, if you have that.
To clarify there is, technically, a bag interline agreement. It just doesn't mean anything operationally. My bag was tagged all the way to the US when I checked-in at CUZ, but I still had to collect my bag in Lima and take it to United check-in. UA pulled the bag tag off and replaced it with a new one.
FWIW, I walked by the Sumaq lounge before my EWR flight. ~15 people waiting in line outside the door. It might not be a very comfortable place to wait. Let us know how you get on.
It's more comfortable than the terminal. 🤷♀️
Line may have been for Hanaq, which takes priority pass but then takes longer for pax to get in and has more demand. Sumaq usually does not have more than a couple of pax working on getting in at any given time.
