I guess everyone is different. I try to break everything down to exact financial value. I broke out the lounge benefit value and breakfast value. To me, those two are not equal to nearly extra 30K pts you are gonna have to spent going to Westin.
Just my personal opinion.

I don't have a lot of points so I always try to ensure I get the max value out of them. Some people have a ton of points and an extra 30K is not an issue, I respect that, just a different mindset.
