AA and AS OneWorld Status

I'm flying AA more and AS less, although I'm currently 75K on AS and am curious how to maximize my points with AS on AA flights or switch my status to AA. AS has very limited intl flights and being based in MIA area, I'm finding decent choices (including PE) flying to Asia via DFW or some European destinations like LHR from MIA.

Unfortunately, if I buy a main cabin ticket on AA, I only get about 25% mileage accrual on AS, which means I have to fly much more often to get to 100K on AS or even to 75K. I recently bought a PE ticket on JAL, flying AA metal, but that accrued only 70% and cost about $1800 to TPE, which I'm told is a good deal.

Is there a way to get main cabin tix on AA and get more than 25% credited to AS? I'm thinking of a status match to AA and leaving AS, although I prefer the customer service on AS, a much smaller airline. At least you can speak with them.

On another note, AA makes it really difficult to include my AS MP number on a reservation. I usually have to call in to fix it. I find AA's IT extremely difficult to work with, when it comes to reservation changes, baggage delays, flight delays, etc. When there's a problem, it seems like you're imposing upon them.

A last note, is there lounge access for Emeralds on OneWorld flights between USA and Canada (flights between East and West coasts)

Any thoughts? Thank you.
