I had my free night cert in March. I asked Creation to close my IHG Mastercard and they did so, very promptly on 28 June. The card now has restricted use, but I can pay any outstanding balance. Luckily I have £59 outstanding to be paid after the final statement on 22 July, so I guess the pro rata £99 fee refund of 8 months due in July will cover the balance? But who knows with Creation?! Good riddance!
