Hyatt now has very little in Las Vegas. Really just that Hyatt place near the University. I'm surprised that they have not attempted to develop their own property there. Maybe they were not allowed under the MGM agreement.
They've tried multiple times:
- The Cosmopolitan was developed as a Grand Hyatt
- The Rio Rebranding (who knows what's going on there)
- Dream Las Vegas
Hyatt just seem to be particularly unlucky at getting high profile properties developed and opened.
