This is unfortunate, I earned a lot of nights and points over the past few years from legitimate stays. So this will just be a clear net decline in benefits for MGM stays.

Not surprising on the MGM side since I doubt Hyatt brought them much business and casinos operate like the gamblers they rely on - when times are good they think they can never lose. MGM is mostly in the mode right now of being on a winning streak and tightening up on benefits and services to customers since they feel like they don't need to deliver anything to earn profit.
