Yes, the suite upgrade is confirmed for both nights.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

Booked the cheapest available, and was upgraded to a suite. First night on cash, second night on points(6.5k)

How are the rooms?

As you would expect for a new HI Suite in China, very good in quality, big, got a smaller bottle for toiletries in addition to the dispensers. Delivery can be sent to rooms via robot, which was nice.
How is the exec. lounge?

N/A

What was good and what was bad?

Good: Correct elite benefit recognition, Diamond breakfast for two and late check-out offered pro-actively, very big room for cheap rate (60USD?), good breakfast for HI quality
Bad: The coffee machine at breakfast isn't the greatest. The Check-in agent told us to use 身份证 as opposed to passport unless we don't have it, as they claim their machine can't verifiy against passport, and would require a visit to the police station.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?

Yes, not that there's another IHG in the city I can choose from to say the least.
