Yesterday I booked on Orbitz AA 1719 & 2756, 10/2/23, YVR-LAX-STL. Coming off a cruise in Vancouver.

First flight lands LAX @ 1657, flight to STL takes off @ 1747.

50 minutes is tough but doable, I thought.

WAIT A MINUTE, I just realized -- customs??? From Canada do I have to clear customs in LAX? If so the 50-minute connection is impossible, isn't it? Or can I wait until STL to clear customs?

If impossible, why would they sell a flight with an impossible connection?
