Of course you are entitled to your view but I don't believe it is fair to suggest the situation is always as unpleasant as you suggest. I expect most passengers have a reasonable to good experience ,whilst acknowledging
that at times service is not as good as it should be. However, I am sure the same could be said of Heathrow flights.
I fly BA every week. Always SH. Always CE. Mix of destinations around Europe. Have done for many years. There is a mixed bag ex-LHR as you suggest. But there is a massive and marked downwards change to the ex-LGW CE service in the last year or so. And I think my sample size is large enough to be able to say that with a fair degree of confidence.
