Someone I know flew recently from AMS to ATH (obviously not on LH) for a cruise and their luggage did not arrive with them. They went shopping in Athens and after a strongly-worded email the luggage was delivered a week later to the last but one port of call. They handed the luggage back to the same airline the following day to fly back to AMS.
I believe this is the likely outcome here. LH is probably not going to bother to try to deliver the luggage to a destination where the vessel is only in port a few hours, i.e. it is highly uncertain if delivery to the pax can be timed and completed.
