ive done this before, i usually say im a spouse - they usually have her say that she allows me to talk on her behalf at the start of hte call, then i can take over completely from there.

taiga said. I call with the phone on speaker and have P2 say P1 will talk. Sometimes there are identity validation questions, and almost always there is an authorization question ("You want P1 to speak on your behalf?"), but as far as I can recall, there has never been a problem.
