Since we arrived somewhat late in the evening at Incheon Airport, we used the Andaz airport pickup service with a BMW 7 which was so smooth, efficient, and worth it as we did not want to deal with any transportation hassle, especially since Incheon is almost an hour from the hotel.

The check-in was gracious and efficient, and we felt very welcome! Globalist status was acknowledged, and benefits explained verbally as well as printed on a card which also has a QR code for the room service menu (I ordered a delicious galbi dinner since I was starving!). We were upgraded to a King Bed Deluxe (booked regular King Bed with points) which could almost be a junior suite elsewhere since it is spacious at 516 sq ft and boast a huge bathroom with a soaking tub and rain shower - my wife loved it even though we just stayed at large and sumptuous suites at the Park Hyatt Bangkok and Park Hyatt Saigon! A nice bottle of wine and fruits were waiting for us in the room, and typical of Andaz, all non-alcoholic beverages in the fridge are complimentary.

The Globalist breakfast was breathtaking with food offerings from Korea, France, England, Japan, and China (we loved their kim chi, BTW) and the food quality was very high! During this trip to Asia, we discovered that breakfast could be the most important meal of the day!

The hotel is really modern and beautiful, as it fits right in the chic Gangnam neighborhood which boasts so many plastic surgery clinics that it's often dubbed the cosmetic surgery capital of the world! A nice Globalist benefit is 2 coupons which can be used at their Bites & Wine bar and you can use the coupon for either food or drink.

Once again, we are already planning to return in 2024.
Interesting that they created a new room category. Surprised you didn't at least get a suite since you booked airport transportation through them.
