Not at all what I expect from a full service Hilton
Haven't stayed in several years, but enjoyed some nice upgrades in the past. The historic Art Deco building is cool, and newly renovated rooms look nice in photos. Interesting that the owners have chosen to go independent rather than switch to Curio.
This departure leaves Hilton's full-service portfolio in Boston looking pretty grim. New Canopy is nice enough, but Hilton Back Bay is underwhelming, Hotel Onyx seems to want out of contract, and the high-end brands are conspicuously absent in a city that could easily support their rates.
