Has anyone stayed here with the Amex FHR rate? There's a very attractive 3rd night free offer till the end of the year. Factoring the $200 statement credit, a king premium room came out to a little over $900 for 3 nights in late October.

That sounds like a fairly decent offer overall compared to regular rates the hotel is asking theses days. The rooms (Premium View included) are big at around 50sqms and have a chaise lounge / sofa as well so maybe that could be used for sleeping for a child or so. Depends what you have in mind as you don't state how many people you are trying to fit. Also consider booking a two beds type room. If desired, a rollaway can be fitted easily, just may mean shifting around the leather chair with footrest or so. As to price, no idea, but I'd guess it may be more than the 5k JPY from back then. Also I'd expect your FHR rate to go up if you indicate occupancy >2 pax. YMMV.
