Booking for someone else and I'm not staying

Maybe this is a simple answer. I'm Globalist, trying to book two rooms for my spouse and spouse's colleague for a business trip in Texas. I will not be staying. We don't really care if either of them receive Globalist benefits for a 1-night stay or we get any tier night credits, but if the property cares to waive the named member requirement it would be a nice bonus. Naturally the main concern is that they're able to even check in if I'm not there. Hyatt.com won't allow me to either change the name of the primary guest or to add an additional guest name when I'm logged in. Other hotel chains allow me to add additional guest names per room to allow them to check in. Is this a feature not a bug, and Hyatt deliberately doesn't allow "additional guest" names to be included at booking? Should I just book them without being logged in and use only their names?
