Second, all of the AirTrains originating from Jamaica Station go to Federal Circle and then Terminals 8, 7, 5 and 4, in that order. So those going to Terminal 1 don't need to ride around a bunch of terminal to get to the shuttle bus departing from Terminal 8. Third, there no longer are trains going in loops around the terminals. As noted, trains coming from Jamaica Station go to Terminals 8, 7, 5 and 4, and then turn around and go to Terminals 4, 5, 7 and 8 before returning to Federal Circle and Jamaica Station. Fourth, trains from and to Howard Beach station no longer go to the terminals; they stop at Federal Circle and then turn around. So those passengers coming from or going to long-term parking or Howard Beach need to change trains at Federal Circle. Finally, I found that there were far more staff members, and they were more helpful, than I've ever seen in the past.
Thanks. You make a strong case for me to stick with Federal Circle parking instead of the uncertainties of offsite parking shuttles. Unless I am willing to blow a wad on T8/Red parking...
